I have been a photographer for over 15 years.
After leaving school I worked for a freelance photographer, developing
his work in the darkroom. I was also assigned to cover events for
the Manchester Evening News, Warburton’s,
Reebok, Bolton Wanderers and local
youth clubs. During this time I completed my BTEC national diploma
in Photography and my Foundation Studies in Art and Design.
My next job was for The Bolton Evening News where
I was a trainee photographer. I worked for the paper covering News,
Sports and Features for 12 years finishing as a Senior Photographer,
with capabilities of running the picture desk. During this time
I also attained my NVQ level 4 in Photography and my NCTJ in photo
journalism.
Since 2002, I have been lecturing Photography at Bolton Community
College, during this period, I have gained my PGCE certificate in
teaching.
I am currently freelancing for companies covering commercial work
for David Lloyd Leisure, Christies Hospital, Cancer Research, Fraser
Eagle Coaches to name but a few and am building up a thriving wedding
portfolio and photography business. |
